Practical applications and conscious use of AI in everyday life
A 10-hour training course designed in collaboration with Recomb, to help participants understand and use Artificial Intelligence in a concrete and responsible way in personal, social and professional contexts. The course introduces Large Language Models (LLMs) in an essential and accessible way and focuses on practical applications: analysing and rewriting texts, creating informational content, organising data and understanding the logic behind basic no-code automations.
Participants work on real cases, developing digital skills that help them navigate the ongoing technological transformation, without complex technical language but with strong attention to the social and ethical implications of AI.
Course objectives
The course aims to provide participants with tools to use generative AI in a conscious, critical and responsible way, understanding its opportunities, limits and implications in everyday life and within the European context.
Course structure (10 hours)
- Introduction to generative AI
Accessible overview of Artificial Intelligence, LLMs and widely used tools, with reference to the European regulatory framework. - Text and information analysis
Using ChatGPT and similar tools to analyse documents, articles, public communications and digital content, identifying key elements and potential critical aspects. - Content synthesis and rewriting
Transforming complex content into clear and understandable texts for different audiences, promoting effective communication and critical thinking. - Data organisation and representation
Using AI to structure information, create summaries and visual representations to support understanding and personal decision-making. - Group work on a practical case
Application of acquired skills to a shared real-life case, with peer discussion and reflection on the concrete impacts of AI. - No-code automations
Introduction to simple automations to organise personal or associative activities without advanced technical skills. - Integration with digital tools
Connecting AI tools with everyday platforms to improve organisation and information management. - Final micro-project
Design and development of a personal or civic micro-project integrating conscious AI use, to be presented at the end of the course.

In line with the principles of inclusion and equal opportunities promoted by the Erasmus+ Programme, EuGen provides a one-off contribution of €250, granted as a reduction of the course registration fee, for participants who are in a documented situation of economic disadvantage.
The contribution is allocated until the available funds are exhausted and is reserved for those belonging to households with income or asset indicators below the thresholds established by the national regulations of the country of residence.
