European Generation

We create European ecosystems of education, mobility and cooperation to foster youth employability and adult lifelong learning.

European Generation (EuGen) is a non-profit association active at European level since 2015. We operate in the design and management of European projects, Erasmus+ mobility and non-formal education, building networks and partnerships that connect universities, companies, organisations and citizens within a concrete European dimension.

We design and coordinate programmes and initiatives that strengthen skills, employability and active citizenship, with constant attention to the quality of learning experiences and the inclusion of people with fewer opportunities.

Our approach integrates mobility, continuous monitoring and co-design with companies and universities in order to ensure training interventions that are genuinely aligned with the needs of the European labour market.

Our strategic areas

European Mobility and Professional Growth for Young People

We design Erasmus+ traineeships and structured mobility pathways, supporting young people in their transition to the labour market and enhancing their skills and potential within a European perspective. We promote high-quality experiences that strengthen the connection between higher education institutions, businesses and local communities.

European Cooperation, Citizenship and Inclusion

We develop and coordinate partnership-based projects, consolidating collaboration among educational institutions, companies, public bodies and organisations across Europe. We operate in alignment with EU priorities — inclusion and diversity, digital transition, environmental sustainability and democratic participation — translating them into educational and project-based actions capable of generating impact for participants and local communities.

We ensure project quality, European added value and a strong focus on concrete and measurable results, while promoting a sense of belonging to the European Union and active, informed citizenship.

Cooperation with Companies

We collaborate with companies, SMEs and host organisations that wish to connect with international university students and recent graduates through structured, high-quality Erasmus+ traineeships. Through our European networks and the mobility programmes we coordinate, we support companies in the activation and integration process of trainees, ensuring quality standards, organisational support and alignment with Erasmus+ principles.

Partnering with EuGen means contributing to the development of a European ecosystem that connects higher education and the labour market in a concrete and sustainable way.

Youth Training

We deliver non-formal training pathways for young professionals, with particular focus on transversal and digital skills, the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence and European project design.

Our training offer is based on the continuous monitoring of the outcomes of Erasmus+ traineeships carried out over the past ten years and on the analysis of performance gaps identified by both partner companies and participants.
Courses are co-designed with companies within the EU4EU network and with partner universities, with the aim of addressing these gaps in a targeted way and strengthening young people’s employability within the Italian and European labour market.

We promote impact-oriented training, capable of concretely influencing participants’ professional pathways.

Adult education

We promote non-formal training pathways for adults, with particular attention to transversal and digital skills, the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence, European identity and citizenship, and personal development.

Our activities aim to foster active participation, social inclusion and European awareness, in line with lifelong learning principles and Erasmus+ priorities in the Adult Education sector.

We promote lifelong learning as a driver of inclusion and individual development. We integrate a concrete European dimension through exchanges, mobility and transnational cooperation in the Adult Education field.

Our commitment

Inclusion is a cross-cutting principle of our work. Since 2015, we have been building networks, skills and opportunities to contribute to a more equitable, qualified and impact-driven European society.
