27 Feb EuGen: Adult Education
EuGen strengthens its commitment to adult education by developing non-formal learning pathways focused on skills development, European citizenship and active participation.
Alongside its activities dedicated to university students and transnational mobility, EuGen is consolidating a specific area focused on adults, with particular attention to young adults outside formal education pathways and individuals with fewer opportunities. This development is consistent with our experience in European cooperation and with our belief that lifelong learning is a fundamental tool for social inclusion and personal growth.
Skills to navigate European transformations
We are living through a period of profound transformation — digital, social, environmental and democratic — which requires updated competences and informed interpretative tools. In this context, adult education is not a marginal field, but a strategic space to strengthen autonomy, participation and adaptability.
The pathways promoted by EuGen aim to:
– develop transversal and relational skills;
– strengthen digital competences and the conscious use of technologies, including artificial intelligence;
– promote active and informed European citizenship;
– foster democratic participation and social cohesion.
All activities are designed in line with European priorities on inclusion, digital transformation and participation, and are embedded in a vision that connects the local dimension with the European perspective.
An inclusive and accessible approach
Inclusion is a guiding principle of EuGen’s action. We regularly work with adults facing economic, social or cultural barriers, adopting tailored support measures to ensure equal access to learning opportunities.
The programmes are structured to be accessible and flexible: they are delivered online or in blended formats, enabling participation across the national territory and facilitating the involvement of individuals with diverse linguistic backgrounds.
Through interactive workshops, peer exchange and collaboration with local and European partners, we offer a concrete and participatory learning experience that connects theory and practice and strengthens the sense of belonging to the European community.
