Artificial Intelligence for Everyday Work

Practical applications, automation and productivity

A 10-hour training course designed to help participants learn how to use artificial intelligence in a practical and operational way in everyday work.

The course provides a concise introduction to Large Language Models (LLMs) and focuses immediately on practical applications: analysing and revising documents, creating content, organising data, and setting up small no-code automations.

Participants work on real cases, developing skills that can be applied directly in professional contexts, without going into theoretical technicalities.

The programme is delivered in collaboration with Recomb, a think tank and consulting company specialising in the study of generative AI and its practical applications in organisational contexts.

Course objectives

The course aims to equip participants with the tools to integrate generative AI into everyday work processes, improving efficiency, content quality and productivity through a critical and informed approach.

Course structure (10 hours)

  • Introduction to generative AI
    A brief overview of artificial intelligence, LLMs and the main tools currently used in professional contexts.
  • Analysing business documents with AI
    Using ChatGPT and similar tools to analyse documents, identify critical points, strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Content summarisation and rewriting
    Adapting the same content for different objectives—reports, press releases, posts, executive summaries—while maintaining coherence and professionalism.
  • Data organisation and representation
    Using AI to structure information, create tables, summaries and initial visualisations to support decision-making.
  • Group work on a practical case
    Applying the acquired skills to a shared real-life case, fostering collaboration and peer learning.
  • No-code automations
    Creating simple automations without programming by connecting AI tools to Drive, email, CRM systems and other workplace tools.
  • Integration with external platforms
    Introduction to building automated workflows using Make, n8n or similar tools to manage repetitive processes.
  • Final micro-project
    Design and development of a personalised micro-project, applicable to the participant’s own work context, to be presented and discussed at the end of the course.

Skills developed

  • analyse and optimise business documents using AI tools;
  • transform complex content into clear and effective outputs;
  • summarise key information and relevant KPIs;
